As many as 10 school headmasters in Kramat Jati Sub-district, East Jakarta signed a declaration to fight dengue fever at SMPN 49, Jalan Raya Bogor, Kramat Jati, Monday (2/22).

The declaration is good to fight against dengue fever

East Jakarta Administration Secretary, Junaidi, said school headmaster must invite students to keep environment cleanliness and apply healthy life method.

“The declaration is good to fight against dengue fever. It is hoped other areas would also join us,” he said, Monday (2/22).

The mosquito larva elimination program (PSN) in every Friday and Sunday should be the necessary for residents. This program must also be campaigned in schools.

Eka Darmawan, Kramat Jati Sub-district Head, admitted his side was in third place of area prone to dengue fever in East Jakarta by 58 cases in January. This month, the case is 29 cases or in seventh place by 8 cases.
